After a week of poker in paradise, Bertrand ‘ElkY’ Grospellier claimed his first European Poker Tour title by winning the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, worth a cool $2 million! Grospellier outlasted a field of 1,136 players to take down the tournament, the largest in PCA history and join former winners like Team PokerStars teammate Steve Paul-Ambrose as PCA Champions.

In a day that only saw 32 eliminations; the action was steady, deliberate, and important. The final 40 players in the PokerStars.net Caribbean Adventure played down to the final table on Day 4, with some big names going home, and one Supernova shining brightly at the end of the day.

The bubble burst early on Day 3 of the PokerStars.net Caribbean Adventure and 120 players were happy to hear it go. But only one can walk away with the $2 Million first prize, and at the end of Day 3, it was David ‘The Dragon’ Pham who sat in the lead of the 40 remaining players. Joining Pham among the survivors of Day 3 were Thierry Van Den Berg, Rhett Butler, and William Thorson.

580 players joined the field on Day 1b of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure at the Atlantis Resort, bringing the total field to 1,136 players in the largest field ever for the tournament. Among the Day 1b entrants were a plethora of world champions, including Greg Raymer, Tom McEvoy and Joe Hachem.

Arnaud Mattern, French backgammon champ and 2005 Gutshot Poker Masters winner picked up his first EPT cash in striking fashion, winning the PokerStars European Poker Tour in Prague. Mattern came from behind when heads-up play began to capture the title from Gino Alacqua in a brief but exciting heads-up match.

Annette ‘Annette_15' Obrestad may have taken the chip lead into the final table, but Colorado stock trader and PokerStars online qualifier Reube Peters took the trophy and the top prize out of it at the PokerStars European Poker Tour Dublin championship.

Andy Black kicked off Day 3 of the PokerStars European Poker Tour championship as the chip leader, followed closely by Annette ‘Annette_15' Obrestad, who continued to prove that not only is she an online superstar, but a terror on the brick and mortar felt as well.
