While playing blackjack if you were the House, at what number would you hold?
jbharshaw Posted on: 2007 May 2, 02:45
Actually the House has no choice. They must hit a 16 and stand on 17. Some casions hit a soft 17, but all stand on a hard 17.

The house holds at 17 or above in blackjack, and hits at any other number. You can get some insight about how the house regulates the tables from the site Usually the dealer has no choice in how to play; they play strictly according to this rule so that the casino is totally in control of the structure of the game and doesn’t risk losing money by a dealer playing stupidly. It also avoids any allegations of cheating or collusion.

Good answer but let me clarify a bit more. Although most casinos will stand on a soft 17, some casinos require the dealer to hit it. A "soft" hand is one that has no risk of busting by drawing one more card, so a soft 17, for example, could be an ace and a six.

Moderator Post: Lonex, you are welcome to post anything that strikes your fancy. But these pure site pimping visits have to stop. As others mentioned, you are mostly pimping site that aren't in English and aren't of use to most readers. Other than sharing with us those sites, most of your posts -- like the one just deleted-- are devoid of other content.
Any future post of yours that appear to be site pimping will also be deleted as have a good number already. Now, you've learned something from this site too. Ken Prevo

For those of you scratching your head over the last post, here is the skinny:
LONEX is a web hosting site. These sites often provide Search Engine Optimization (SEO) services. Typically, these optimize the site to make them 'search engine friendly' and our site does that too and recently went through a series of improvements to do better.
SEO improvements to websites are legit. Google refers to such activity as 'white hat' optimization.
Bloggers contribute to each others optimization by referring to sites they like in their blog. That is often referred to as blog pimping. It is a friendly act to build a sites visitors by piggybacking on another sites popularity. This is a common feature among blogs and part of the culture.
Some operations are 'black hat' ones. They place links across the net just to get additional points with the search engines. This is what our friend Lonex is doing. It is using another site to falsely improve their sites numbers by hook or by crook. Ken Prevo

No further memberships needed. Your membership in the SoVI (Society of Village Idiots) is all you need.
As to making money... Well, you might want to make your affiliate offers as nice as ours. After comparing your's to our's I noticed people were much better off with ours so I changed it to ours.
That does make your poorly worded plea even less likely to work. If you want my advice, change your site into a parking site and see if you can sell some Viagra clones and penis pumps. Ken Prevo
