I see myself as the only poster in the Blogger forum I started the online blogging blitz so why not start an empty forum with posts only by me? If you post, they will come. Really? If they don't who cares? Certainly not me. I started the poker blogging frontier, never caring if anyone joined in or not and I may as well set myself up to feel the same way about this forum. I did, however, hope that I would generate interest and it wouldn't be an empty space. But if it's up to me to fill it, I will. On the other side of the topic, I see myself possibly blogging until the day that my fingers can no longer bend or have the strength to depress a key on a key board. Why? Because that's what I do, I love it, I blog for me, having said that, I need no other reason. As far as gaming online goes, I believe the US idiotic fucking law against playing poker online will be either removed, repealed, or set up with a different standard than the way the law reads now - when that happens - get to high ground and have all your online bank accounts loaded and ready to go into instant action for the world will go berserk one more time with free rolls, tournaments, ring games, etc., as everyone tries to open again with the US market. In B&M, I see it only becoming stronger as more and more people move into the playing field realizing that they don't have to be a pro to play and enjoy poker. Poker is going to be huge for at least the next five to six years, it may reach a saturation point but by that time it will be cemented into the hearts and being of those coming in now and those that are already there, and let's face it, once you play poker, you will always be back.

Maybe I should buy a few ReviewMe posts to get traffic in here. Seriously I think it would take a good discussion point to get bloggers checking in here, and I thought the ReviewMe topic would do it. Maybe if the next big topic is the next get together. If you offer up a topic to whoever steps forward to arrange the next one, that would encourage that type of conversation to this forum.

I'm sure you are right on all counts. I know it's difficult to start a new forum because you have to have active posters, but I'm stubborn and optomistic, so I'll just keep plugging away at it and with your help now and then, soon others will jump in. Happy Holidays, Meek.

Just a quick comment about this forum. I signed up for it a few weeks ago but was having major problems with the forum's performance then. I would be able to read about 3 or 4 posts and then the site performance would suddenly lock up or drag down to a terrible crawl. I was not able to stay on the board for more than 10 minutes. Today, I came back and the problem seems to be gone. Perhaps the reason that posting has been down was in part due to that. I'll be happy to do what I can to boost participation here, but please keep an eye on the forum's performance. That alone might be one of the biggest participation factors.

I'll notify the programmers. I haven't had any problem accessing or using the forum so I wasn't aware.

I've had no problems accessing the forums. As far as participation in the bloggers forum goes, as a mediocre writer (and poker player for that matter) with a blog readership of zero, I don't feel particularly qualified to be starting a lot of threads  , but, if there's something I can make a relevant contribution to, I'll be there.
