Bloggers and other online content providers got some recognition anyway as Time Magazine's Person of the Year. I find that funny and also a cop out in my perspective. Are you trying to tell me that there was no one single person out there from 2006 that made a big impact in the world? Bloggers and other content providers made the biggest difference in 2006? Hmmm. I don't believe that makes us out to be freaks anyway.

And now, Chipper, in 2009 we are quoting one another; the government is monitoring us; the news papers are both quoting us and defiling blogs. Bloggers of many interests are small powers in their own areas, and authors of best sellers - and blogging came first. The pity is print media didn't really pay attention as they drifted more and more political and left. Viva Blogs.

Yah, ain't we kewl? When I first started writing (they weren't blogs back then) I never thought anyone would ever read anything I wrote, (I did it for purging my brain of irritants - and still do at times), and when I found out people were reading I was kind of in shell shock because the world is full of freaks and I should know, I consider myself to be one most of the time. . My only regret with blogs is that everyone doesn't have one - they make fantastic time machines for your brain when you read something you wrote five years ago - and I don't have time to get out and read. I say 'Write on, you freaks!' Linda R. Geenen http://table-tango.pokerworks.com/ What game are you playing?
