The 1977 WSOP final table was the second time when Doyle Brunson won the pot with his legendary T-2 hand. At the pre-flop, he was sitting with T♠ 2♥, and Bones Berland was dealt 8♥ 5♣. It seems that both players had bad hands, but they both decided to play them by limping in at the start.
The flop came T♦ 8♠ 5♥. Now both players had pairs, only Brunson had a better one and berland had two of them. Once again, both players checked.
The turn brought 2♣ – another pair for Brunson. Now, Brunson bet and Berland moved all-in. Brunson called.
