LAPT Expands to Become Poker Tour of the Americas
It was announced on April 4th that the Latin American Poker Tour (LAPT) will expand to include North American venues. Therefore, the name of the tour will now be the Poker Tour of the Americas (PTA).

2008 Asian Poker Tour Schedule Released
The Asian Poker Tour has announced its schedule for the 2008 season. The four events will take place in the Philippines, Macau, South Korea, and Singapore, beginning with the Manila stop on the tour that will run from May 27th to June 1st.

Gus & Girls on Poker After Dark
Technically, the week-long series of new episodes of Poker After Dark is being promoted by NBC as “Gus and the Ladies,” which is more politically correct. However, “Gus & Girls” has a better ring to it. Let better judgment be damned.

World Poker - Peru
Gambling is very popular in Peru, enjoyed by locals as well as tourists. The casinos offer games to suit any taste, including poker. Most casinos offer poker, though many do not advertise it. A recent law was enacted that made all poker rooms smoke free, which made Peru the first country in South America to ban smoking in a casino. Smoking is however still permitted in the main casino.

He will represent the company in marketing and advertising projects, on television and on the tournament circuit, and as the model of a WPT Poker-Made Millionaire.
