Victor Ramdin's Passions

Victor Ramdin, PokerStars Team Pro, has a giant spot in his heart for his home country Guyana and charity is one of his passions; we're going to go out on a limb and say poker is another.

Ramdin belongs to a small medical outreach program called Guayana Watch which he joined in 1995. Thousands of patients in underprivileged communities are treated every year when the charity workers travel to Guyana. The charity has grown each year with Ramdin's help and the people of Guyana now have a never-before-available option for open heart surgery.

Some of Ramdin's tournament winnings and help from the Guyana Watch have provided much for the people of Guyana where proper facilities or skilled doctors were not available.
