Don't worry, your information is always confidential and safe, especially when the Feds are allowed access to it.  Of course they aren't looking for you, they are looking for the baddies that may use international wire transfers in a suspicious manner.  In other words, Joe Public, you are screwed and the screws keep tightening as the federal government looks for more ways to track everything you do and how you do it.  Pssst!  They want to see your hole cards.

Get Ready for Poker Night on ESPN

Tuesday, Oct. 6th at 9 PM, ESPN brings you the latest and greatest of day 6 of the WSOP Main Event.  Michael and Robert Mizrachi are still in action along with other big names like David Benyamine and Jean-Robert Bellande. Yes, we already know who the November Nine are, but part of the fun is watching it all unfold in live action.  Tune in with Lon McEachern and Norman Chad as they co-host the main event of the 2010 World Series of Poker.

Til Death do us part or the Feds get Involved

Federal authorities were receiving help from Schütt AKA Schüett and Olaf Brand in an investigation of a multi-million money laundering internet poker gambling operation. Jennifer Sherman, his wife since January, “indicated she was in fear, was afraid her husband was going to flee, and wished to be removed from the defendant’s bond,” federal court records say. Fort Myers Assistant US Attorney Yolande Viacava asked the judge to detain him...he's in jail.

James Bord Claims WSOP Europe Main Event

It may have been the rail screaming and singing "Walking in a Bordy Wonderland," or it may have been just the right magic in the air sprinkled with poker skilz - but James Bord of England has just stepped into the world of Gold Bracelet Main Event Winners. He survived through 345 competitors and big name players and ended up heads-up with Fabrizio Baldassari who took second when his pockets fives lost to Bord's pocket tens.

PokerWorks and Bodog Poker Freeroll Series

Get ready to rumble in the PokerWorks $1K Open where $1,000 has been added to the prize pool and will be distributed per Bodog Poker standard tournament payout.  The freeroll is open to all, regardless of where you signed up for your Bodog Poker Account, and you have made the minimum deposit.  You'll need a password that will be posted here a few hours before the October 3rd, 18:35 ET start time. 

Online November Nine

Nine players have a free opportunity to attend the World Series of Poker Main Event in Las Vegas in November AND possibly make history in the 2011 Main Event. It started on August 10th and runs to October 9th.  There's still time to be a major contender.  Obviously you have to do something to win the perks and put yourself in a place to win.  Here's how you do it!

WSOP Europe Updates

Phil Ivey just took a break from his quest for another gold bracelet - until next summer that is - leaving in 19th place.  For now he will have to deal with only having eight bracelets dangling from his wrists as he goes about the business of being one of the best poker players in the world. Gus Hansen scored his first bracelet in  heads-up NL Holdem High Roller Event 4 winning the best two out of three matches against Jim Collopy.

Bodog Poker Open V

Bodog Poker's biggest annual event started today with great competition, giganticous guaranteed tournaments and the opportunity for the Main Event winner's name to live on in the Bodog Poker Open Hall of Fame.  More opportunities are open to this year's competitors by having the option to play in the Championship Series and the Contender Series structured for various bankrolls - running to October 3rd, don't miss this opportunity!

October 2nd Fifth Annual Monte Carlo Night

Nancy Cartwright is an avid poker enthusiast, in addition to being famous for her voiceover work, such as her long-time role as the voice of Bart Simpson. But more than that, she enjoys putting together some of the most star-studded and profitable fundraisers each and every year. £10,000 NL Holdem High Roller Heads-Up Suspended

Full Tilt Poker pro Gus Hansen and Jim “Mr_BigQueso” Collopy are tied at one match apiece and the final match for a Gold Bracelet could have been played today but they are both playing the WSOP Europe Main Event Day 1B.  It's possible there is a legal issue also with British Law; according to the WSOP.com, they may not have been able to start a heads-up match after 3:00 AM.  As to when the two will play out the final match, it's unknown at this time.
