PokerWorks Gives You A Shot At An Overseas Poker Tour
The Asia Pacific Poker Tour had a groundbreaking first season, and now PokerWorks and
PokerStars are giving you a chance to be a part of what should be an equally exciting second season.Oh, and the cost? Free.
If you signed up with PokerStars through Pokerworks, the Aug. 31 freeroll gives you two chances to earn a spot in the 2008 APPT Seoul’s Main Event.
Even second place in the tournament wins you an entry, not a silver medal. And the entry is packaged with a Main Event entry (worth $2,870 USD), accommodations and travel expenses (we are talking about Seoul here, so that’s not insignificant).
If you haven’t signed up yet and you want to take part (and why wouldn’t you), download PokerStars through PokerWorks and register with a new account.
You must make a deposit and earn 200 VPPs before the end of Aug. 28.
If you are already a member and signed up through PokerWorks, you can take part
as well, as long as you earn the same points.
PokerWorks also gives you $25 free and a 100 percent matching bonus up to $50 for signing up as well.
Finish in the top 34, and you can share $1,000 in step tickets for the next APPT
Seoul satellites.
The APPT’s first season was by all standards, a breakthrough, with more than 1,400
players and a prize pool of more than $5 million. First-place prizes reached into the hundreds of thousands, and Sydney’s grand final was won by Grant Levy, 28, who won $875,000.
