If you signed up with PokerStars through Pokerworks, the Aug. 31 freeroll gives you two chances to earn a spot in the 2008 APPT Seoul’s Main Event.
Even second place in the tournament wins you an entry, not a silver medal. And the entry is packaged with a Main Event entry (worth $2,870 USD), accommodations and travel expenses (we are talking about Seoul here, so that’s not insignificant).

The APPT’s first season was by all standards, a breakthrough, with more than 1,400
players and a prize pool of more than $5 million. First-place prizes reached into the hundreds of thousands, and Sydney’s grand final was won by Grant Levy, 28, who won $875,000.
