For ring games, points are awarded for each hand in which you participate, as long as the hand is raked, no matter whether you contributed to the pot by placing a blind or a bet, or whether you fold. Points are also awarded based on the fees paid when buying-in to a tournament. Actual points are awarded according to the rake taken at ring games, as listed in the following list of the rake taken per hand/number of points for each participating hand:

Remember, rake taken refers to the rake generated at a table in a ring game by all the players during that hand, and not by any individual player.
For tournament play, 17 points are awarded for every $1 in fees you pay. For instance, if a tournament costs $10+$1 to Buy-In, the $1 is the amount of fees paid. Players who have VIP Level 2 and up will earn points even faster than the amounts generally listed here. And remember that you can only earn points for Real Money games. Play Money games are not included in the bonus promotion.
