In August of 2006, the Full Tilt Online Poker Series known as FTOPS kicked off with eight tournaments and a combined prize pool of a little over $1M; a quiet beginning for an event that has turned into a tidal wave of players, tournaments, and an ever increasing prize pool that is not even close to topping out.

FTOPS IX had a total of 46,855 players, 25 events, and an unbelievable $17,446,400 total prize pool of all events added together. Each FTOPS proves to be much bigger than the last with happy winners receiving a gold FTOPS jersey, a gold jersey avatar to represent them at the Full Tilt Poker Tables, and lots of cash.

The Full Tilt Online Poker Series is almost halfway done as events 8 through 11 are in the bag. Event #8 kicked things off Sunday and was a heads-up No Limit Hold’em contest with $500 + $35 buy-ins. Four more Champions are crowned at FTOPS

Plenty more action has taken place at the Full Tilt Online Poker Series as events #4 through #7 have come to a conclusion. First up, Friday’s Event #4 was a Pot Limit Hold’em tournament with buy-ins of $200 + $16.
