Judah started the final table among the shortest stacks, looking to double up against one of his opponents, like chip leader Nick Persaud, Hermenegildas "Hermes" Zilys, Chris Andreas, Jody Vernon or Sonny Osman.

While the first events of the UK Open are unfolding across the pond, the US arm of the National Poker League announced that they have joined with the Venetian Resort and Casino in Las Vegas to host the 2007 Vegas Open, scheduled for November 24th - 30th and the NPL World Championship Tournament on December 3rd.

Dave "El Blondie" Colclough came back from a final table finish in Event #1 to take the brass ring in Event #2 of the National Poker League UK Open, besting a field of 29 top competitors in the £500 buy-in No Limit Hold Em tournament.

Tony G takes the chip lead into the final table of the National Poker League's UK Open Event #1 today, leading a television final table featuring some of Europe's top poker pros. Tony G took an early lead when he cracked Shannon Elizabeth's pocket Kings with his J-10 suited, calling Elizabeth's all-in with his open-ended straight flush draw versus Elizabeth's over pair.

With only a quarter of the field gone after two sessions of Day 1 action, 21-year old Event #10 winner Anna Wroblewski was joined by 2003 WSOP ME runner-up Sam Farha as the chip leaders for the biggest tournament in the history of the World Poker Tour.

Bellagio's Five Diamond Classic culminated in the $15k Doyle Brunson North American Poker Classic, one of the premier events in the WPT season. The field of 583 players started with 30k in chips and was divided into two Day 1's, giving players plenty of play for their investment in the best tournament environment in the world.
