In just 2008 alone Collins has taken down the Full Tilt $1000 Monday and had a second place finish in the same tournament a few months later, won a $100 rebuy on PokerStars and final tabled multiple big events.

Currently living in Rome, Italy, 23 year old Dario Minieri is accomplishing every one of his goals in no time. He set out to win a Porsche on PokerStars and did just in under a year. Then, he wanted a WSOP bracelet and made that a reality at the 2008 WSOP in the $2,500 no limit, 6 handed event. He isn’t stopping there; Minieri has more plans for his future in poker.

A lot of the poker players in our “Where Are They Now?” series started gambling at a young age. Russ Hamilton makes the others seem like old men, considering he initially became interested in gambling at just five years old. At an age where boys are usually interested in G.I. Joes, toy trucks, and silly putty, Hamilton was already beginning to figure out the intricacies of poker.
