On January 31, 2008, PokerNews announced the renewal of its contract with Bluff Media for live coverage of all World Series of Poker events. This includes the 2008 World Series of Poker at the Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas during the summer months as well as the WSOP Circuit events throughout the U.S.

Maybe poker didn’t start until 1798, when the British Crown established it as a penal colony.
