Technically, the week-long series of new episodes of Poker After Dark is being promoted by NBC as “Gus and the Ladies,” which is more politically correct. However, “Gus & Girls” has a better ring to it. Let better judgment be damned.

This week, Players Network announced that it has launched two Video On Demand (VOD) television channels on TiVo. The shows, "Gaming Lifestyle" and "Vegas on Demand" are available to digital subscribers for easy download to the TiVo box but will not be available on traditional channels.

Lucky You is now available on DVD, released for international distribution on September 18th. Prior to the nationwide film release of the film in theaters on May 4th, 2007, it was a highly anticipated movie among poker enthusiasts. Warner Bros. had been promoting the film for over a year before its release.
