The fantasy of many people when they first enter the world of poker is to one day play on TV where they will have a chance to win millions of dollars and possibly become a star. However, most of these people never even get within miles of any sort of TV cameras and are relegated to living out their playing days at small card rooms and online poker sites. But those who play online at Pacific Poker may find their television dreams coming true rather quickly.

That’s because Pacific Poker is offering its players a chance to appear in a major televised offline event. It’s called the 888.com Poker Open V and it takes place from October 7th to November 7th in the historic and compelling city of Maidstone, England. In all, $648,000 will be offered to the Poker Open V participants and the top prize will be a big one in $250,000!
Players will win their way to the Poker Open V through the $8,500 prize packages that Pacific Poker is offering which covers the buy-in to the Main Event, the hotel room, flight tickets, and spending cash. Plus you’ll be appearing on television since the cameras will be capturing this event.

In order to be eligible to get one of the $8,500 prize packages, first download Pacific Poker and sign up using the POKERWORKS bonus code to get the full 100% deposit bonus up to $400. After doing this, visit the “Live Events” tab at Pacific to sign up for one of the dirt cheap satellites that they are offering. Some of these satellites are as low as $3 + $0.30 while the Sit & Go’s are only $6 + $0.60.

If you’d rather bypass the satellites and go straight to the 888.com Poker Open V Qualifier, then you can pay the buy-in of $300 + $30. The Poker Open V Qualifiers take place every Saturday at 4:00 p.m. (GMT +1) and will be offered up until the event starts on October 27th.

Those who are good enough to win an $8,500 prize package through a satellite or direct buy-in to the Qualifier will have the opportunity to face off against English celebrities like cricket star Shane Warne and world champion snooker player Steve Davis. The Poker Open champion from last year in Andrew Feldman will also be on hand for the event. And you can only imagine how sweet it would be to knock him out of the tournament while the cameras are rolling!
