Poker Personalities
Until you face someone down across the green felt, you really never know what lurks inside. Until you follow a cocktail waitress through a crowded poker room, you really never know what she hears. Until you push a broom as a porter, you never see the junk humanity throws at you. Until you stand behind the cashier’s window at tournament buy in time – or the pay-out window, you never quite understand the meaning of pressure. Until you deal the card on the river that busts out a poker pro, you never really get to see how they react to a loss.
The personalities of poker are too complex and varied to paint in a few pages but please check back often because that is our intent here at PokerWorks – to give you a glimpse of the real world of poker and it is definitely not the TV version.
