The PokerNews Cup is on the move and the next tournament will be held in beautiful Austria. The PokerNews Cup
will run from April 23-27, and be held at the Concord Card Casino, located in historic Salzburg.The PokerNews Cup is expected to draw over 400 players for the €650 buy-in Main Event. Two other events will also be offered, giving players another chance to show their stuff and compete against players from across Europe.
The Concord Casino, which is hosting the event, offers various forms of poker games, along with slot machines, cafes and restaurants. With several locations throughout Austria, poker players are assured to be close to a tournament, no matter where they choose to stay.

PokerWorks, in conjunction with some of the top online poker rooms, will be running several Freeroll’s to the PokerNews Cup Austria. Winners will receive a fantastic €1,500 prize package, which includes entry to the Main Event, plus cash for travel and hotel accommodations.

All Freerolls will start promptly at 15:00 EST. In order to qualify for the Freerolls, players must download PokerStars through PokerWorks, register a new account and make a deposit. Players then have to earn at least 50 VPPs in the day before the tournament. (To qualify for the freeroll on 22nd Jan, players need to earn 50 VPPs on 21st Jan etc. EST)
Players who qualify will be issued a ticket that can be used to register for one of these great Freerolls. Each ticket can be only be used once. Players who already have a PokerStars account, and signed up through PokerWorks are also eligible to compete in these Freerolls, provided they fulfill all other entry requirements.
