PokerStars Releases 2008 WCOOP Schedule
PokerStars just released its own version of the World Series of Poker just as those tournaments are
heading to a climax.PokerStars World Championship of Online Poker is guaranteeing $30 million over 33 different events. The new events include a $25,000 buy-in event, 2-7 Triple Draw, an eight-game mixed tournament and a four-max No-Limit Hold 'Em event.
Sheesh. What's next? Deep-stack, No-Limit Rebuy Razz?
Anyway, the WCOOP runs from Sept. 5-21 and may just be the biggest online tournament series in history.
