The World Championship Of Online Poker at PokerStars is now over, and what a grand PokerStarsfinale it was.

The WCOOP's Main Event broke the record for the largest online prize pool with more than $10 million up for grabs. You want proof it was huge? Not one, but TWO players won more than $1.2 million. The only other place you'll find top prizes like that is at the World Series of Poker - and that's the biggest event in poker!

The WCOOP's $30 million guarantee was shattered, as the total prize pool for all 33 events flirted with $40 million in cash.

You can still start practicing for the next tournaments. Download PokerStars now and you'll get an exclusive PokerWorks bonus of $25 free in addition to a 100 percent matching bonus up to $50. You must enter the marketing code of POKERWORKS upon registration and the bonus code of FIRST2008 upon your first deposit.

Players from 118 countries competed. Team PokerStars Pro Bertrand 'ElKy' Grospellier was one of the big winners, with more than $400,000 won in the two-week period. He won almost $23,000 in the Main Event, finishing 21st.

Carter 'ckingusc' King, a 22-year-old student from Columbia, South Carolina, won the Main Event, winning $1.26 million. 'Liberace' won $1.375 thanks to a chop before the final river was dealt.

You can watch many of the highlights on PokerStars.TV .
