With festivities beginning at 4pm on October 9th, the MGM Grand poker room will be the setting for the tournament. The $300 buy-in tournament will feature $100 rebuys available throughout the first four levels of play with a $100 add-on at the end of the rebuy period.

First, second, and third place finishers will also receive $2,200-valued watches from Curtis & Co. The entire event will feature more than 100 prizes and giveaways for players and spectators.
The Road 2 Recovery Foundation is a product of an injury sustained by Jimmy Button when he was 26-years old. After ten years of riding motorcycles professionally, a fall at a Supercross event in San Diego, California injured his spinal cord and paralyzed him from the neck down. Against the odds, he has learned to walk again, though his riding career will never again be. Button learned a great deal from the experience, but notably that injured riders needed an organization that would be there for them with financial and emotional assistance. Thus was born the Road 2 Recover Foundation, established with the help of Bob Moore and Bob Walker. The non-profit organization supports the community of riders of which Button is still a part.
Button noted, “The past couple of years have been especially difficult for industry riders. Since my own recovery, I’ve dedicated my life to helping professional AMA licensed Motocross and Supercross members sustaining career-ending injuries with financial, motivational, emotional, and spiritual support.”
More information about the charity and the benefit tournament can be found at www.Road2Recovery.com , where a pre-registration page is available. Players will also be able to register at the MGM Grand on the day of the event.
