Position on a round of betting where the player must act before most of the other players at the table. (It's considered the two positions located to the left of the Blinds.)
Exposed Pair
An exposed pair of cards.
Exposed Cards
Cards purposely dealt face-up (usually in Stud).
Expectation
A term referring to the amount of money of you expect to gain on average in a certain game.
Even Money
A wager made in hopes of winning the exact amount of money that was wagered.
Ethics or Etiquette
The understandings and courtesies of a game. Usually, the violations do not constitute cheating.
Equity
Your "rightful" share of a pot. If the pot contains $100, and you have a 50% chance of winning it, you have $50 equity in this pot.
Entry Fee
A fee which is paid for a tournament entry.
English Stud
A Stud Poker game played with a draw.
English Poker
A Draw Poker game played with a blind opening.
End Strippers
Cards tapered along the ends for the purpose of cheating.
End Bets
Last bets of the round.
End Bet
The last bet of a round.
Eldest Hand
The first player to the dealer's left.
Edge Shot
A stuation, when a bet is made from an advantageous position.
Edge Odds
The advantage or disadvantage of a player relative to all other players.
Edge
An position which is giving the player an advantage.
Early Bet
A small bet after the first card (in a Stud game) or the first two cards (in a Draw game).
Eagles
The cards of a fifth suit in a sixty-five-card deck.
