Last year PokerStars offered prizes, deposit bonuses and double Frequent Player Points for players in their 5,000,000,000th hand celebration. Less than a year later, Stars will deal their 10 Billionth hand, and there are more prizes than ever for lucky players!

To go along with the special celebration, Stars is offering reload bonuses for existing players as well as the normal deposit bonuses for new players. To get the bonus, simply download PokerStars software, and then make a deposit. New players will get a $25 bonus for signing up through PokerWorks, and existing players can get a 25% reload bonus (up to $150) by using bonus code "10Bhand". To earn the deposit bonus, a player must earn 15 Base Frequent Player Points per dollar of bonus. This bonus expires in 180 days; the necessary Base FPPs must be earned before the expiration of the bonus. Qualifying deposits must be made before 11:59PM ET on May 22nd.

PokerStars is also giving away free cash on every millionth hand leading up to the big one. Starting with hand 9,900,000,000, Stars will award cash prizes for every millionth hand dealt - leading up to the first EVER 10 Billionth Hand online! If you are dealt into one of the 100 milestone hands* in a cash ring game, you'll walk away with a cash prize between $100 and $2000.

Prize Breakdowns on every Millionth Hand:

Limit** Winner The Rest

Micro $250 $100
Low $500 $200
Medium $1000 $400
High $2000 $800

VIP Club members earn even more on key hands, from a 15% bonus for SilverStar members all the way up to a 200% bonus for SuperNova Elite members. So a $2000 winner could win an extra $600 just by being a GoldStar Member! And for the winner of the 10 Billionth hand, a massive $100,000 cash bonus, plus $10,000 cash bonus for everyone dealt into the hand.

PokerStars has long been known for their excellent selection of tournaments and structures, so they've enhanced and added tourneys for the celebration as well. Starting May 12, PokerStars will run four $1,000 daily trivia freerolls at 00:10, 09:10, 13:10 and 19:10 ET every day, with each freeroll appearing in the lobby 30 minutes before the start time. Players will be able to register for the freerolls by finding answers to trivia questions around the PokerStars site, PokerStars blog and within the client software.

This biggest weekly tournament in poker gets even bigger on May 20th, when PokerStars adds $250,000 to the Sunday million and expands the prize pool from the top 15% to the top 25%! Not only that, but The Sunday Warm-Up will also get a boost with an extra $100,000 being added. Players can win seats into both Sunday tournaments right now on PokerStars.

As with the 5 Billionth hand celebration, PokerStars is once again doubling the Frequent Player Points (FPP) a player earns per hand, and with each step up the VIP Club ladder, players can earn bonus FPPs. Normal play will result in twice as many FPPs as usual, which players can then turn in for tournament entries of PokerStars gear.
