FTOPS IV wraps up on Full Tilt

With over 17,000 registered players across 10 events running from May 11 to May 20th, the Full Tilt Poker Online Poker Series (FTOPS) closed out its fourth installment this Sunday, with over $336,000.00 going to Main Event winner John_McClane17. Over $5 million in prize money was awarded to the players in the FTOPS IV, marking the best turnout ever for the site's championship series.

Full Tilt Poker's sponsored pros were conspicuously absent from final tables throughout the series of events, with the Hendon Mob's Ross Boatman producing the highest finish of any of the sponsored pros, finishing 13th in event #2, and PL Omaha tournament. WPT champ Erick Lindgren had the best finish of any Full Tilt pro on this side of the pond, bringing in a 14th-place finish in event #8, a $1,000 buy-in No Limit Hold ‘Em tourney.

Online poker pro ‘Imper1um' was the most recognizable winner's name, netting over $40,000.00 for his win in event #8, another NL Hold ‘Em tournament.

As with previous FTOPS events, the tournaments were a mix of buy-ins and games ranging from a HOSE (Hold ‘Em, Omaha Hi/Lo, Seven-Card Stud, Stud Hi/Lo) limit mixed event to Omaha and Omaha Hi/Lo to several Hold ‘Em events, including the No Limit Hold ‘Em Main Event.

In addition to cash, winners and high-placed finishers in FTOPS IV events received the following prizes.
• Players who finished in the money in any FTOPS IV tournament received a limited-edition FTOPS baseball cap
• Players who reached the final table in any FTOPS IV tournament received a baseball cap and a limited-edition FTOPS jacket
• Players who won an FTOPS IV tournament received the baseball cap and jacket, along with a gold FTOPS jersey and a gold jersey avatar for use on Full Tilt Poker.

With FTOPS IV now in the record books, Full Tilt players will be able to turn their full attention to the site's World Series of Poker satellite tournaments, including the popular 100-seat guarantee tournament on June 17th which will give away a minimum of 100 seats to the WSOP Main Event. Sign up for Full Tilt Poker now and join the pros and FTOPS Tournament of Champions winner at the World Series!
