Every entrant has now played in the World Series of Poker $10k NLH Championship. 639 players finished with chips at the end of Day 1D including Ted Forrest, Gus Hansen, and Daniel Negreanu.

Harrah's announced a prize pool of $59,784,954 for this year's Main Event, with 621 places paying. The top prize of $8,250,000 is second only to Jamie Gold's $12,000,000 last year. Gold won't have a chance at any of the money as his day ended early on the ESPN Feature Table. The top five players will become millionaires as the prize pool is smaller and flatter than last year.

It was another long list of players who won't go forward. Gold was joined by Dutch Boyd, David Benyamine, Freddy Deeb, Cyncy Violette, Paul Darden, Erica Schoenberg, Young Phan, Eric Lynch, Fred Goldberg, Surindar Sunar, Young Phan, Shawn Sheikhan, Erick Lindgren, Doug Carli, and Antonio Esfandiari. Phil Hellmuth was literally a wreck at this year's Main Event. His powerhouse marketeers decided he is a NASCAR driver, so they put him behind the wheel of a performance car on Sunday. It was a dry run for his grand entrance on Monday, but he lost control of the car and crashed into a concrete column in the parking lot of the Rio Convention Center. Possibly as punishment, he was forced to wear a faux driving outfit that gave the word self-promoting a whole new meaning. He'll have plenty of time to practice his driving as he whittled his stack down to a single big blind, busting out before the dinner break.

Chipstacks came and went yesterday, often evaporating as quickly as the chips arrived. Dario Minieri and Vlado Marinkovic each had the chip lead early, breaking the 100k mark before the dinner break. Both settled back under 50k by the end of the evening. Michael Lynn (above) shot to 170k as midnight approached, but his chips went away before the end of the evening. Others went the opposite way.

Daniel Negreanu was very short on chips but rallied to 43k. Dan Heimiller, Gus Hansen, Ted Forrest, Bill Edler, Chip Jett, Sirous Jamshidi, Sorel Mizzi, and Thor Hansen each moved above 100k by the end of the evening. The top twenty chipleaders from Day 1D:

Josh Evans 237,300
