Tony G takes the chip lead into the final table of the National Poker League's UK Open Event #1 today, leading a television final table featuring some of Europe's top poker pros. Tony G took an early lead when he cracked Shannon Elizabeth's pocket Kings with his J-10 suited, calling Elizabeth's all-in with his open-ended straight flush draw versus Elizabeth's over pair. Tony G's hand improved to bounce the American actress and poker player from the event en route to his chip lead at day's end.

Joining Tony G at the final table, which he leads with 24,725 chips are Sekh "Steven" Razab (20K), Jason Ho (16.4K), Dave "El Blondie" Colclough (15.6K) and Eion Kennedy (6.7K). Colclough, a member of the famed British gambling collective The Hendon Mob, is the most famous member of the final table aside from Tony G. The famed Welshman recently cashed in two WSOP events, a Pot Limit Hold ‘Em event and a 6-handed No Limit Hold ‘Em Event.

Tony G is a popular and polarizing figure in the poker industry, appearing on many television shows and taunting his opponents into making the decisions he desires. The Lithuanian native now located in Australia has over $2 million in career tournament winnings and his brash style of play and table chatter has made him one of the poker industry's most recognizable stars. You can play poker online with Tony G at Full Tilt Poker.
