On Sunday, September 9th at 6:30pm EST, there will be a special charity tournament on Full Tilt . It's a Bad Beat on Cancer event to benefit the Cancer Research and Prevention Foundation and the Nevada Cancer Institute.

The buy-in for the tournament is $5 + $5, the first portion going to the prize pool and the second being donated to Bad Beat on Cancer. The tournament will be limited to 900 players. Many top pros have already signed up to participate, such as Rafe Furst, Bill Gazes, J.J. Liu, Michael Craig, and members of the Life's a Bluff team.

As added incentive, Life's a Bluff has also donated several prizes, including a deck of Copag playing cards and a signed Life's a Bluff limited print (valued at $45) to be awarded to the winner. In addition, there is a bounty on Frank Frisina's head of a deck of Copag playing cards and Copag wooden storage box. Other bounties to be donated by Full Tilt will be announced prior to the start of the tournament.

The tournament can be found in the multi-table section under the private tournaments tab, and registration is open. The password is "badbeat." There will be a maximum of 900 players, and participants will receive 3,000 in starting chips. Levels will be ten minutes each with blinds starting at 15/30.

The last tournament raised over $1,400 for Bad Beat on Cancer, and organizers hope to attract enough players to surpass that number in this event.
