PokerNews Cup to Be Televised by NPL

PokerWorks visitors now can become famous thanks to the PokerNews Cup.

PokerNews has arranged for the National Poker League (NPL) to film and broadcast the PokerNews Cup to be held in Melbourne, Australia October 21-29. The National Poker League will be distributing five one-hour episodes to networks throughout Europe and the Americas. Although the actual broadcast schedule for the episodes is still to be determined, the projection is over half a billion households will view these telecasts.. Tentative plans are to broadcast the episodes in December.

PokerWorks readers are eligible to qualify for the PokerNews Cup in one of twenty remaining freerolls September 12-October 7. Four of those freerolls will be played at Duplicate Poker , one of the fastest growing new sites in poker. Their freerolls will be held at 3:00PM EST on each of the next four Sundays (September 16-October 7), giving players an excellent shot at heading Down Under in October. Each package includes entry into the PokerNews Cup Main Event (AUD$3,000), six (6) nights accommodations at the Crown Promenade Hotel, and $1,500 for travel and expenses.
