On the heels of the highly successful Avalanche promotion, Everest Poker has already launched its "Live the Dream " campaign that will result in ten poker players winning the opportunity to live the life of a poker pro for a year. The promotion began in October and will continue through March of 2008.

Players will be competing for a prize package that includes buy-ins to several of the world's biggest tournaments - EPT (European Poker Tour) Season 4 grand final ($13,000 buy-in), 2008 World Series of Poker main event ($10,000 buy-in), two other 2008 WSOP events ($2,500 buy-in each), two WPT (World Poker Tour) Season 7 events ($15,000 buy-in each), and two EPT Season 5 events ($10,500 buy-in each). Each player will also be awarded $21,000 in cash for related expenses, which brings the grand total of the "Live the Dream" prize package to $100,000 for each of the ten chosen players.

There are numerous ways to qualify for tournaments. Online satellites are running daily from now until March 10 with buy-ins ranging from $3 to $11 in which winners will advance to each weekly tournament. The weekly tournaments will run each Monday through March 10, with the exceptions of December 24 and December 31) and will include satellite qualifiers and players who choose to buy in for $100. The top ten players in each weekly game will qualify for the "casting call" in March, in addition to winning cash from the prize pool in that particular tournament.

In addition, the top five players who earn the most Summit Points (frequent player points) in November, December, January, and February, will qualify for the "casting call."

Over the weekend on March 22 and 23, judges will audition the 200 finalists in the "casting call" portion of the promotion. The judging panel will consist of Everest Poker team members and special guests who will take the following qualities into consideration: online poker skills, live poker skills, personality via the interview process, knowledge of the Everest Poker brand, blogging skills via a sample blog entry submitted to the judges, and speaking skills. There will also be a voting process for the general public to view each contestant's webpage and videos and vote for their favorite player.

In the end, ten players will be chosen to live the life of a poker pro for a year - traveling the tournament circuit, playing in some of the most prestigious events in the world, and acting as spokespeople for Everest Poker.
