Charity Report: Jamie Gold & Dean Cain to Host Operation All In

Operation All In is a benefit poker tournament scheduled to take place on Saturday, January 12 at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. Already promised to play in the event are 2006 World Series of Poker main event champion Jamie Gold and Lois and Clark actor Dean Cain.

The $550 buy-in no-limit hold’em tournament will be held from 1pm to 6pm on the 12th, and seating is limited to 15 tables. There will be $200 rebuys available. The prize pool will have a guarantee but has yet to be announced.

The Operation All In event will also feature a silent auction and live DJ entertainment for the public. The auction, along with a portion of the tournament buy-ins, will benefit the Xtreme Couture GI Foundation.

Mixed Martial Arts legend and UFC champion Randy Couture is hosting the day-long event. As a U.S. Army veteran of the 101st Airborne Division, he founded the Xtreme Couture GI Foundation after visiting with military amputees and those with brain injuries at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio. He wanted to raise money and awareness for those wounded soldiers and their families.

The foundation receives referrals from the Military Severely Injured Center for soldiers and their families who experience financial difficulties and provides assistance. It also arranges for a motivational weekend with Couture as a motivational speaker to injured soldiers who are making the transition back to civilian life.

Couture, Gold, and Cain will be joined by numerous Mixed Martial Arts stars as well as actors and musicians as they join together to play poker and raise money for the cause.

Tickets can be obtained through the Hard Rock Hotel or by contacting the foundation at (702) 616-1022 or
