The Dynamic Duo: Pam Anderson and Rick Salomon Head to Melbourne

Pammy never fails to provide me with writing material! Her latest adventure will take her and hubby, Rick Salomon, down under to the Aussie Millions!

The couple contacted The Crown Casino and made arrangements for poker player, Salomon to play in the $10,000 poker game. They also negotiated an appearance fee for Pamela Anderson to tag along.

Last year, Anderson reportedly was in talks to appear in Melbourne for the Aussie Millions, but turned down the offer.

In 2006 Pam was in Melbourne for only 24 hours as she promoted green M&M’s. She was paid a generous $200,000 to attend a VIP Launch where she shattered a glass bowl full of candies (on purpose?) and refused to pose for photographs.

Salomon and Anderson are expected to arrive in Australia this week, as early as Thursday. The No-Limit Hold-Em Main Event starts Monday, January 14th and they are featuring no less than a $1 Million Dollar grand prize. The final table will be played on January 20th!

Some of the biggest names in poker are expected to play. Look for Jennifer Tilly, Shannon Elizabeth, Joe Hachem, Mark Philippoussis, Phil Ivey and, of course, 11 time bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth.

Last year Rick and Pammy made headlines when they took their 17 year friendship to the next level during a poker game in Sin City.

“I left the table and my driver played in my place,” she said. When she returned, she found herself $280,000 in debt to Rick.

“Rick, being the gentleman, said he would wipe my debt if I gave him a kiss, so I have to thank Vegas for our relationship switching gears,” Anderson said.

Since then, the couple wed at the Mirage in Las Vegas during the intermission of her Magic Show and consequently filed for divorce a few months later.

The, always exciting, couple is trying to work things out as Pam stated on her blog a few weeks ago.

Maybe a romantic trip to Melbourne will be just what the doctor ordered for this twosome.
