Bodog Regular Wins Bodog Poker Open Event 2

Bodog Poker has numerous regular players who frequent the online poker site and have made names for themselves there. One of them – “3pounder” – used his familiarity with the site and his poker experience to win the second event of the Bodog Poker Open on March 4th.

The $300 + $25 no-limit hold’em six-handed event was the second in the Bodog’s inaugural poker series. The 249 players who entered the event included Team Bodog players David Williams, Josh Arieh, and Evelyn Ng, the latter of whom made it to first and second place in Event #1 the previous day, as was reported here. They were joined in Event #2 by numerous Bodog regulars like Joe "Dyzalot" Morneau, Jose "head2782″ everino, Smith "nevertilt22″ Collins, Jose "papadelpoker" de la Guardia, Jon "PearlJammer" Turner, Matt "thatsNice" Larsh, "daisyxoxo," "Killa_Tyven," and "iLLNuGWichee."

The winner of the second event was “3pounder” who has made nearly a quarter of a million dollars in Bodog online poker tournaments, and the $23,292.50 will pad that account nicely, in addition to carrying with it the prestige of winning the second Bodog Poker Open preliminary event in its first run. And on the heels of the win, “3pounder” went on to cash in a $30 rebuy tournament. That’s a dedicated player.

There is still time to win one of the preliminary events or the main event of the Bodog Poker Open. Better yet, there is still time to qualify for most of the remaining tournaments via satellites that are running daily.
