As the main event of the inaugural Bodog Poker Open nears, Bodog Poker has chosen to add more satellites for the $500 buy-in championship tournament. Between Thursday, March 6 and Sunday, March 9, there will be more than 50 satellites running before the main event begins at 4pm EST on Sunday.
The first several events of the Bodog Poker Open have been completed, and the winners are in the record books. Some of the biggest names in poker – online and live – have participated in the tournaments. In addition, two of Team Bodog’s own members, Evelyn Ng and Josh Arieh, place in second and third respectively in Event #1. And the much-anticipated main event is only days away.
While many players will buy in directly to the $500 championship event, even more hope to qualify through lower buy-in satellite tournaments. Bodog listens to its players and has added numerous opportunities for them to qualify, as everyone should have the chance to win what will be the biggest tournament prize in Bodog’s history, the title of champion, and the amazing engraved Omega Speedmaster Pro watch valued at $4400 to commemorate the occasion.
By Saturday, March 8, satellites will begin as early as 6am EST and run at least once per hour all the way up to the start of the main event the following day. And beginning on the day of the main event, satellites will run at least every half hour beginning at 9am EST, and last-chance qualifiers will run every 15 minutes as the start time nears.
