Poker Royalty is to poker professionals what the William Morris Agency is to the stars of Hollywood; the most prestigious agents the industry has to offer.

Founded in 2003 by Brian Balsbaugh, Poker Royalty, LLC, based in Las Vegas, is known as the industry's premier poker representation agency. Recently it was announced that Poker Royalty has added another impressive name to their client list; Gavin Griffin.

Gavin Griffin may not be a household name yet, but he is working on it. A native of Darien, Illinois, Gavin didn’t start out to be a professional poker player. In fact, his career path was heading towards speech pathology until poker entered the picture. While going to college he worked as a poker dealer, until he quit both to turn pro. His decision turned out well when in 2004, at age 22, he briefly held the record as the youngest-ever player to win a World Series gold bracelet, when he won the Pot-Limit Hold’em event. Since then, the 26 year old has gone on to do very well in tournaments, including his 2007 wins in the $2.4 million EPT Grand Final in Monte Carlo and the WPT Borgata Poker Classic. Those three wins have given him the distinction of being the first and only player to date who has scored a win in all three major tours. So far, Gavin has taken home over $4 million in tournament winnings and in 2007, finished eighth overall on the Money List.
