Titan Poker nears a milestone that will solidify its place as the leading European poker room in the online poker community. Its growing popularity is illustrated in the fact that the one billionth hand will be dealt very soon. The milestone began with the recent 950 millionth hand, and the countdown is now in progress.

Players are invited to cash in on the upcoming momentous occasion with numerous opportunities available now. Over $350,000 in cash prizes will be awarded in all.

First, there are cash table promotions in the way of countdown hands and jackpot hands. Countdown hands occur every 200,000 hands from the 950 million mark. Each time a countdown hand hits, the table will be notified and all participants in that hand will split an amount dependant upon the stakes at which they’re playing. For example, micro-stakes players will split $65, low-stakes will get $250, medium moves up to $1000, and high-stakes will receive $3500. Jackpot hand bonuses will be awarded every 5 million hands and split between the participants of the hand. Micro-stakes will get $250, low $1000, medium $4000, and high-stakes will receive $14,000 to split. Jackpot hand winners will also receive tickets to ECOOP events.

Second, the players who are participating in the hand when that billionth one is dealt will split a cash prize of $30,000, and the winner will take $50,000 extra plus tickets to all ECOOP events (valued at $3,420.00 in total).

Even the bubble players, those who are involved in the hundred hands leading up to the billion mark, will be given the opportunity to participate in a freeroll tournament with a total prize pool of $10,000. The billionth hand winner will also participate and have a $2500 bounty on his or her head.

A spokesperson from Titan Poker commented, “We want all of our players to be a part of this race, because without their loyal game play we wouldn’t be reaching this landmark event.”

There is no better time to be playing on Titan Poker. With the opportunities to win seats into the biggest poker tournaments on the planet, including the upcoming 2008 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas, there are satellites running around the clock, in addition to the always present tournaments and cash games. It is also the perfect time to practice those skills for the upcoming ECOOP II that will begin on May 23 and run through June 1. The ECOOP II is offering $3.6 million worth of prizes, so the time to prepare is now!
