The highly-anticipated and always well-attended FTOPS on Full Tilt Poker is set to return in May. The FTOPS VIII will be held from May 7 to May 18 with 24 events and more than $10 million in guaranteed prize money.

FTOPS (Full Tilt Online Poker Series) debuted in August of 2006 with eight events and a total prize pool of a little more than $1 million. Full Tilt is promoting the FTOPS VIII as the biggest yet.

Each event will be hosted by a Full Tilt Pro, as detailed below in the schedule of events. Players will be able to track their progress on the FTOPS leaderboard and watch video highlights from each final table with commentary provided by the pros and announcer Ali Nejad.

Prizes in each tournament are not limited to the prize pool for each tournament. In addition to the cash, all final table players will receive a limited-edition FTOPS jacket, and winners of each event will receive a gold FTOPS jersey, gold jersey avatar for use on Full Tilt Poker, and an entry to the FTOPS Season II Tournament of Champions on May 24th. Satellites are running now. And to participate in the FTOPS VIII Satellite Challenge, it takes only one satellite win into any FTOPS event. That player’s account will be credited with tournament dollars equal to that tournament entry, in addition to it. Winning more entries than any other players gets that player the tournament dollars equivalent to two more buy-ins. The winning doesn’t stop!
