The 8th annual Full Tilt Online Poker Series is two-thirds of the way finished and there are more exciting events and big winners to talk about. Event #12 was the first of a three event Tuesday and was a No Limit Hold’em tournament with 1 re-buy and 1 add-on offered. Lee Watkinson hosted this $200 + $16 buy-in event that far exceeded the $300,000 guaranteed prize pool at $455,200 after 961 people entered.

The tourney came down to heads-up play between “DERA21” and “DaEvils”. DaEvils came away the winner of this match-up and won $104,696 while DERA21 took home $66,004. Steve Brecher was the only Full Tilt pro to cash after winding up in 51st place.

Next up was the David Singer hosted $500 + $35 buy-in HORSE contest that featured 607 people and a guaranteed cash pool of $303,500. Jeff Madsen did well for Team Full Tilt in Event #13 as he took 23rd place but the event belonged to “the aviator1” who defeated “OrBigEarn” to take the top prize. For winning the event, the aviator1 cashed out with $73,381 while OrBigEarn didn’t do badly either earning $46,283.

The last tournament of Tuesday night was Event #14 and it was hosted by Amanda Baker. The game was No Limit Hold’em Turbo and the buy-ins were $200 + $16 for the 2,140 people who pushed the guaranteed 200K way over the mark at $428,000.

This would be a good event for the Full Tilt pros as 1986 WSOP champ Berry Johnston cashed in his second FTOPS VIII event at 25th while Scott Fischman wasn’t far behind at 37th place. The battle for the top spot and the gold jacket came down to “dud711” and “OnceUponAStar”. In the end, dud711 was able to take down OnceUponAStar and claim the jacket and $87,290 for first while OnceUponAStar made $56,496 for second.

Starting things off Wednesday was Event #15 which happened to be the always tricky half Pot Limit Hold’em, half Pot Limit Omaha tourney with $200 + $16 buy-ins. 932 people decided to play in this tournament and they pushed the prize pool to $186,400.

The final table included some notable online players like Alon “hamazriya” Nissim and Jared “Smokinokun” Okun but neither was able to beat the winner “Siggen” who netted $42,872 for first place. Stuart Patterson was the lone Full Tilt pro in the money as he cashed out at 52nd.

Event #16 concluded Wednesday’s play and it was a No Limit Hold’em affair with re-buys and the tables set at 6-Max. 1,072 players sat down to play after paying the $300 + $22 buy-in which made the total prize pool worth $1,132,800.

The host Phil Gordon was unable to cash anything out but Berry Johnston once again placed in the money at 34th place. The finale came down to Mark “xqsays” Radoja and “stuckmyass”. Radoja, who is already a well-noted online player, finished 3rd in Event #9 and wanted to come back with a victory in #16. But it wasn’t to be as he finished runner-up and got the $157,459 prize for second while stuckmyass won the biggest prize of the day at $236,189.

Events #17 and #18 take place today so come back late and check out who made the biggest cashes.
