The results are in. After a fierce battle on the green felt, 10 finalists have been chosen for the $1,000,000 Avalanche high seas poker tournament provided by Everest Poker.
This year’s line- up includes four Germans, two French, two Dutch, one Swede and a Spaniard. And, to prove winning poker knows no age or gender boundaries, these finalists ages range from 21 up to a 55 year old grandmother!
These lucky finalists will battle it out for a $1,000,000 prize pool from May 29th - June 2nd, while sailing on the luxurious Royal Caribbean Cruise ship The Navigator of the Seas.
Not only do these ten finalists get to engage in hot poker action while onboard one of the grandest ships afloat, but each is already a winner, because they are guaranteed to win at least $12,500!
Battling it out on the high seas will be:
• Andreas Robert Peschel (Anrope), from Wermelskirchen, Germany • Mieczyslaw Basara (matchpoint), from Bremen, Germany • Andreas Hoffman (sailfun), from Germany • Monika Kees (Doha2006), from Augsburg, Germany • Brice Cousin (BriceInParis), from Paris, France • Fabien Cauvet (tapygris), from Houilles, France • Wing Kwok Tang (Mofox_IP), from Zwolle, the Netherlands • Jelmer Attema (jattema), from Groningen, the Netherlands • Smael Arribas Munoz (ismaelpsx), from Madrid, Spain • Stefan Anders Hägg (simbastra), from Linköping, Sweden
