Full Tilt Fever: Mini Series of Poker

Have you heard about the little get-together in Las Vegas called the World Series of Poker? A few (thousand) people gather to play a few (55) poker tournaments for a prize or two (millions of dollars and gold bracelets). Maybe it has crossed your radar.

I kid.

The WSOP is the biggest live series of tournaments of the year! But if you don’t happen to have a few grand in your bankroll to play the tournaments or simply can’t get to Vegas, Full Tilt Poker has something in store for you. The action is no further than your own computer.

The 2008 Full Tilt Mini Series of Poker (MSOP) will allow you to play 54 events, the list of which is nearly identical to the WSOP, at just 1/100th of the cost. Events are scheduled to run parallel to the actual WSOP, beginning May 30th and ending July 5th. The buy-ins on Full Tilt will range from $10 to $500, and satellites allow every player the opportunity to gain entry for as little as $2 + $.25 or 50 Full Tilt points.

The schedule is as follows, with event number, date, time, buy-in, game, and guaranteed prize pool, respectively:
