Surf the web for poker sites long enough and you’ll find plenty of them that feature some type of leaderboard to keep track of who’s doing well. The poker rooms that record this information may even reward those at the top of the boards by giving either a monthly cash prize and/or a yearly prize. But very few sites out there keep as detailed of leaderboards as Duplicate Poker does.
At Duplicate, the battle atop these standings never ceases as there’s always something at stake for players. That’s due to the fact that Duplicate Poker Leaderboard keeps tabs on the daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly races. And anyone who wins one of these contests gets paid!
For the daily races, the 1st place player at the end of the day gets a $30 prize. 2nd place will take home $20 while 3rd gets paid $15. Places 4 through 10 on the leaderboard also make money in this everyday race.
The weekly contests see 1st place taking quite a bit more than the daily winner in $100. 2nd is given $50 while 3rd will receive $30. And just like with the daily leaderboard, places 4 through 10 will also get paid.
The winner for the entire month will get paid a $200 bonus while 2nd gets $100 and 3rd receives $70. Unlike the daily and weekly races though, the people finishing 4th all the way down to 20th at the end of the month will get bonuses too.
Now for anyone who’s got the skills and poker endurance to hold onto the top spot in the yearly contest, they will be $1,000 richer for their efforts. The 2nd place prize isn’t too bad either at $500 and the 3rd place person will grab $200.
So if you’re the super-competitive type who can’t wait to jump in and stomp other players on the cash-filled Duplicate Leaderboards, download Duplicate Poker and receive $3 FREE and the 200% deposit bonus up to $100.
If you want to know how the points system for the leaderboards works real quick before downloading, then this explanation should cover it. To start, the points are awarded through Sit & Go’s and tournaments.
The tournament points formula looks somewhat complicated but is actually really easy to understand. It is: square root of Money Won + square root of Buy-in divided by 2. In other words, if you bought into a $16 tournament and won $49 your numbers would be: square root of 49 (7) + square root of 16 (4)/2. The end result would be 7 + 4/2 which would equal 9 points for the tournament.
Luckily, the Duplicate software will do the math for you and keep track of everything. All you have to do is concentrate on playing well and moving up the leaderboards.
