The roster of Team Full Tilt is impressive by any standards. When one online poker site has sponsorship deals with many of the top professional poker players in the business, it is tough to miss their accomplishments in any tournament. But put names like Gus, Patrik, Jesus, Howard, E-Dog, Seidel, Jennifer, and Ivey in the 2008 World Series of Poker mix, and good things are bound to happen.
Full Tilt now has 14 players on Team Full Tilt, not counting the CardRunners members, Hendon Mob players, Full Tilt Pros, and Friends of Full Tilt. And they are making quite a bit of noise at the 2008 WSOP!
Among them, their 2008 WSOP accomplishments include 21 players making final tables, four winning bracelets, and $4,797,501 being accumulated in winnings from cashes and wins. Those are some impressive numbers, especially considering these tallies only include the first 18 tournaments of the 55 that will take place this summer. A breakdown of the successes is as follows:
Event 18 Mike Matusow – 1st, Erick Lindgren – 4th, David Benyamine – 7th Event 16 Scott Clements – 7th Event 14 Erik Seidel – 5th, David Oppenheim – 7th Event 12 Markus Gosler – 6th, Erick Lindgren – 10th Event 11 Greg Mueller – 2nd, John Juanda – 7th Event 10 John Cernuto – 3rd Event 8 Eli Elezra – 5th, Jeff Madsen – 7th, David Oppenheim – 9th, Gus Hansen – 10th Event 6 Scott Clements – 9th Event 4 Erick Lindgren – 1st, Roland de Wolfe – 4th, Howard Lederer – 6th Event 3 David Singer – 1st Event 2 Chris Ferguson – 3rd Event 1 Nenad Medic – 1st, Andy Bloch – 2nd, Patrik Antonius – 7th
Erick Lindgren is having a phenomenal WSOP so far and gunning for 2008 Player of the Year. Scott Clements also has a great showing with two final tables as he looks for another bracelet this year to make it three years running. Lindgren and David Singer, two of the game’s best, who have been on lists of pros who deserved but didn’t have WSOP bracelets, overcame that obstacle in the first few days of the Series and added WSOP wins to their resumes.
The excitement can hardly be contained at Full Tilt, and one way to get in on that is by joining the Fantasy Poker League and picking your favorites to do well at the 2008 WSOP.
And if you feel like getting in on the winning action but don’t have the bankroll of someone like Erick Lindgren (who does?), take a shot at the Full Tilt Poker Mini Series of Poker (MSOP). The tournaments offered are at 1/100th of the price of the WSOP in Las Vegas, and they allow you to compete in the same games that are being spread at the Rio every day.
