PokerStars Gives You Double The Reason To Smile After Winning A Pot

There's probably nothing better in poker than winning a pot.

Unless, of course, that pot is doubled.

PokerStars changes the definition of a "double up" in poker by offering doubled pots this week as the 2X promotion continues.

PokerStars will double the pot for the winner of every 1,000,000th hand dealt in real money cash games until July 20.

If you didn't win the pot, don't turn up the table (even your virtual one), as all players dealt into the hand will receive 22 big blinds at the limit being played. if you're playing Stud, Stud Hi/Lo or Razz (and if it's not Razz, why not?), then you'll earn 22x the small bet.

PokerStars will then multiply that amount according to your current VIP status. If you're a SilverStar, you'll get 15 percent on top, Gold gets 30 percent and Platinum 60 percent. It goes up from there.

You don't have to play only cash games to enjoy the extra rewards. You'll get 1.5X the amount of VPPs and FPPs that you would normally get for playing Heads-Up Sit & Go tournaments.

is also running daily multi-table tournaments that offer you a second chance to rebuy once if you are eliminated. Buy-ins for those tournaments start at a measly $2.22 and go up from there and begin at :22 minutes past the hour.

If you'd like to win double what you deserve, download PokerStars now and you'll get an exclusive PokerWorks bonus of $25 free in addition to a 100 percent matching bonus up to $50. You must enter the marketing code of POKERWORKS upon registration and the bonus code of FIRST2008 upon your first deposit.
