One of the biggest booms in poker right now is in Asia, and PokerStars wants to put you in the middle of it.

PokerStars is offering satellites to the Asia Pacific Poker Tour as its second season kicks off in September in Macau. Just to show how large the gambling boom is, Macau has more dollars gambled every day than Las Vegas.

Sponsored by PokerStars, the APPT is now one of the most successful tournament series outside of North America.

The first starts in Macau, China, on Sept. 1.

Entry fees are lower than the World Poker Tour, many events in the World Series of Poker or other comparable events, and the U.S. dollarisn't doing as poorly as it is in Europe. Macau's entry fee is $3,200, for instance.

If you'd like to be a part of the action, you can work your way up with the cost as low as...free, with just a few Frequent Player Points as the buy-in. Satellites are also available for $3.30, and that can get you to an $88 satellite to the $475 qualifier.

One APPT entry package to the first tournament in Macau will be awarded for each $6,000 in the prize pool. A package includes the entry, hotel expenses and $1,890 in cash from Sept. 1-6.

The latest qualifier starts on Sunday, Aug. 3. Download PokerStars now and you'll get a little extra cash, an exclusive PokerWorks bonus of $25 free in addition to a 100 percent matching bonus up to $50. You must enter the marketing code of POKERWORKS upon registration and the bonus code of FIRST2008 upon your first deposit.

PokerStars gives you a chance to see China and take part in one of the biggest poker booms in the world. Try it today.
