Bodog Weekly Leaderboards Let You Play The Pros

It’s always nice to be rewarded for making it among the top ranks of a poker room’s leaderboard. Most sites choose to reward players who are skilled enough to accomplish this feat with some extra cash and/or an entry into a freeroll tournament. And Bodog Poker is no different in this regard but they do choose to add some extra incentive to the deal.

And the extra incentive is that top leaderboard players will get the chance to test their skills against pro poker players. Anyone who finishes at the top of the weekly Bodog Poker leaderboard will get to play heads-up against Team Bodog players David Williams, Evelyn Ng, and Justin Bonomo. Plus $1,000 in cash will be thrown in to sweeten the deal!

The way that the game against one of the Team Bodog pros works out is that the 1st place person at the end of the week will take on one of the three aforementioned pro players in a heads-up Sit and Go freeroll. The prize up for grabs is $1,000 and, if the player wins, they obviously get to keep the money.

But if the pro wins, the money goes back into a pot that gets progressively bigger as the pros keep winning. Once a player does beat one of the pros, they get to keep all of the money from that week and the previous weeks where the cash was unclaimed. The pot has grown as high as $16,000 in the past!

Now in order to play one of these pros for some major money, you’ll need to download Bodog Poker and setup an account. It’s by far best to use the POKERWORKS bonus code when doing so because this will give you the 110% deposit bonus up to $500.

You’ll also need to earn plenty of points in order to win the weekly leaderboard race and the way this breaks down is pretty simple. Anytime you play in a tournament you have a chance at earning points. The amount of points received depends on the amount of players, the buy-ins, and your finish. To get these points, you’ll need to finish in the top 20% of the tournament field.

The only qualification for the tournament is that it has to be open to the public. That means no Sit and Go’s or Qualifiers for another tourney. Other than that, all one needs to do is get in some tournaments, move up the weekly leaderboard, and hopefully have the opportunity to play Williams, Ng, or Bonomo for lots of cash.
