Favorite song to listen to before tournament that gets you pumped up: Lose Yourself by Eminem

Craziest prop bet: It was a weight bet that ended up costing me $500,000. I was in Aruba and I made a weight bet with Mike Sexton and Ralph Rudd in 2005. The bet was for $25,000 and that by Christmas you had to have lost 5% of your weight or pay $10,000. By February 1st you had to lose another 5% for another $10,000. By the opening day of the Main Event you had to keep it off for another $5000. When the weigh in came in February Mike Sexton was so far away that he called to offer a deal. Ralph was 7 lbs over but I knew that he would rather lose an arm than lose a bet so with 3 days to go I figured he was still going to make it. I was already at my goal but I was drinking juice and hadn’t eaten for a week. I was dazed and famished when Mike called to offer a deal. I wanted the bet to end because I had to wait 3 more days and I was already extremely hungry. I probably wasn’t thinking correctly. The deal he offered me was to put me in the Party Poker Million to call off the bet and that he and Ralph would each get a third of me in that tournament. Not thinking straight and realizing that I would have already won $10,000 I accepted the offer and gave 2/3 of myself for free. I went on to win $700,000 and even though I had won the bet I had to ship $520,000. Sometimes even though you win, you lose.
