In the past, Pacific Poker has been known for its $80,000 Guaranteed tournament that was always held on Sundays. And this was certainly a great tournament as lots of people participated in it over the years and tons of money was given away through it. However, Pacific Poker has decided that it’s time to up the ante a little and hold a new tournament on Sundays that is bigger and better.Dubbed the $100,000 Deep Stack Challenge, Pacific’s new Sunday tourney now has more money involved and the starting chip stacks are much larger too! In the Deep Stack Challenge, players will start the tournament with 10,000 chips and the blinds will only go up every 20 minutes ensuring that good players will be given plenty of chances to do well.
For those wondering how to get into this new $100,000 tournament, the first step is to download Pacific Poker using the POKERWORKS bonus code. This will give you the 100% deposit bonus up to $400 and also make you eligible to get into the tournament through numerous ways.
Basically the satellites are split into two different groups with a “1 in 3” and “1 in 4” format. The 1 in 3 format has 1 player advancing for every 3 in the next level. On the other side, the 1 in 4 deal expectedly has 1 person advancing for every 4 in the next level. Here’s how the levels work for the 1 in 3 format (all times are GMT -1):
• From Monday through Saturday, the first level satellites will be held every 6 hours from 2:15 to 20:15 with buy-ins of $10 + $1.
• Every Monday through Saturday will see the second level satellites take place every 6 hours from 4:15 to 22:15 GMT -1 with buy-ins of $27.50 + $2.75.
• The final level has buy-ins of $75 + $7.50 and runs from Monday through Saturday every 6 hours from 00:15 to 18:15.
The levels for the 1 in 4 format go like this:
• The first level for the 1 in 4 format is very cheap at $4 + $0.40 and goes from Monday through Saturday with the satellite taking place every 6 hours from 1:15 to 9:15.
• From Monday through Saturday, the second level happens every 6 hours from 3:15 to 21:15 and the buy-ins are $15 + $1.
• And from Monday through Saturday, every 6 hours from 5:15 to 23:15 will feature the last level with buy-ins of $55 + $5.
Players can also buy directly into the $100,000 Deep Stack Challenge (which begins on Sunday at 19:00) for $200 + $20. As an added bonus, anyone who participates in the $100K tourney is automatically entered into the $10,000 Warm-up Freeroll which happens the next Sunday at 17:00. With the fact that two great tournament are offered in one, it definitely makes sense to get over to Pacific and try to get into the $100,000 Deep Stack Challenge.
