The reasons to be a Poker Blogger are many and varied and could include the following:  Some like to write about their experiences in the game; others like to write for therapy; others like to gain an audience or following; some write hoping to glean income; some are just there because others are doing it.

Poker bloggers can win bonuses and earn points playing the qualifying tournaments as they work their way up the TLB (Tournament Leader Board).  There’s a seat waiting for the top ranked players on the TLB in the Final Tournament of Champions with $3,000 in cash and prizes.



Tuesday and Thursday evening better find you in a seat at Bodog Poker, the series started with 15 Qualifying Tournaments and it concludes on December 16, 2008.  Each qualifying tournament will find the top 30% finishers earning points based on their finish.  Their rank on the TLB is through an aggregate of their top 8 point scores.  The top 15% - at the end of the qualifying tournaments – on the TLB will have a seat in the final Tournament of Champions and that is played on Thursday, December 18th, 2008.

If you start playing late or hit a bad run of luck and can’t accumulate points or chips, just play in three or more qualifying tournaments and you’ll be invited to play in a last chance tournament.  The last chance tournament takes place on December 17th, 2008 and the top three finishers will be awarded a seat in the Tournament of Champions.

The buy-in for the Qualifying Tournaments is $10+1 and the prize pool is distributed according to Bodog Poker’s standard multi-table payout with bonus prizes available (check Bodog for bonus prize information).

The Tournament of Champions payout is as follows:

Grand Prize: T$2,000 + $100 casino credit
2nd place: T$500
3rd place: T$250
4th place: T$100
5th place: T$50
