The 12 Days of Poker kicks off on December 21st at 2:00 pm ET with a No Limit Hold’em tournament.  The buy-in to this first poker tournament is $100 + $9 and each player will start with 3,000 chips.  The best part about this kick-off tourney is that Bodog will be adding $3,000 of its own money into the prize pool.

Of course this first tournament is just an appetizer for the second one since Bodog Poker will add $20,000 to the prize pool for this tourney.  The buy-in is the same as the first tournament and the starting time will be 4 pm on the same day.  December 21st will round out with two more tournaments featuring buy-ins of $10 + $1 and $20 + $2.  Bodog will add $2,000 to one tourney’s prize pool and $1,000 to the other tournament pool.

December 24th is where things really pick up again since there are going to be 6 different poker tournaments on this day.  The biggest one will be a $100 + $9 buy-in event and Bodog will add $2,000 to the prize pool.

Christmas day will be even bigger since a total of 7 different tourneys are set to be held on this occasion.  The first one starts on December 25th at 1:20 am ET and the last one will begin at 10:30 pm ET.  The chance to win major cash doesn’t end after Christmas because Bodog Poker will add $20,000 of its own money to the $100 + $9 tournament on December 28th at 4:00 pm.  New Year’s Day will wrap up the 12 Days of Poker and Bodog is going to hold 7 more tournaments to round out the action.    

But January 1st won’t mark the end of the entire event because Bodog will still be giving out $2,000 prize packages to the Bodog Open III.  And those who finish in the top 100 of the 12 Day of Poker leaderboard will automatically be entered into a freeroll for the prize packages.  The first day of the freeroll begins on January 8th at 9:05 pm ET and those who finish in the top 18 will move on to the finals.

The finals of this freeroll takes place at the same time on January 15th and those finishing in the top 9 will be guaranteed a prize.  The top 3 players get $2,000 prize packages for the Bodog Open III while places 4 – 9 will get a seat in the brand new promotion known as the “Bodog Flight Club.”
