The final week of 2008 is a wonderful thing at PokerStars. PokerStars has a band new online team competition coming next year. You can watch the exhibition event that will decide the captain of the Team PokerStars Pro for the PokerStars All-Star Weekend. The event is a Team PokerStars Pro Championship Match that begins Sunday December 28th at 13:00ET and the top three players’ prizes will be donated to charity on their behalf. They will play an 8-game format and 1st receives $15K, 2nd receives $10K, and 3rd receives $5K. The event is found in the PokerStars Lobby under ‘Tourney’-‘Special’ and if you miss it, it will be replayed a few days later with all the hole cards shown. It’s a great learning tool on getting into the way a pro views the game as they are in the action.
