PokerStars is running fantastic year end events with the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure beginning immediately in 2009.  PokerWorks is running their final bi-weekly HORSE Tournament of 2008. 

Is there a comparison? Yes and no! 

At the PokerStars events you will play against thousands of players and compete for huge prizes and world acclaim.  At the PokerWorks HORSE tournament you will play against a handful of players and compete for bragging rights more than anything else.  The PokerStars events allow you to freeroll or satellite into them.  The PokerWorks HORSE event entry is strictly through a buy-in, but it won't bust your bankroll.

Choices, choices, choices.  What should you do?

In order to compete in all of the PokerStars events you will need to download PokerStars and register for an account if you don't have one already.  Signing up through PokerWorks allows you to receive an exclusive PokerWorks bonus of $25 free in addition to a 100 percent matching bonus up to $50. The PokerWorks HORSE tournament begins December 28th, 2008 at 21:00ET.  The buy-in is $5+$.50.  There is currently one player registered and the prize pool is $5.00.  The password is 'donkeys'.

PokerStars Guinness World Record Breaker begins December 28th, 2008 at 15:30ET.  The buy-in is $10+$1.  There are currently 35,000 players registered and the prize pool is guaranteed at $500,000.  There is no password.

Now truthfully, which one would you rather play in?  Ah-h-h...decisions, decisions, decisions.  We suggest you play both.
